AAAA Women Presents: “How Does a Car Work?” – A Practical & Informative Networking Event
Dear Women of the Automotive Aftermarket,
Join us for an engaging and hands-on networking evening where we break down the workings of a car—both petrol and EV. Whether you’re new to automotive concepts or looking to brush up on the fundamentals, this event will provide a clear and practical understanding of how vehicles operate.
Led by Luke Truskinger, this session will cover the essentials of internal combustion, how energy is converted to momentum, and common mechanical terms—giving you the confidence to talk cars with anyone.
Luke Truskinger is the Managing Director of the Auto Innovation Centre (AIC), with extensive experience in vehicle testing, development, and training. A specialist in internal combustion engines, electric vehicles, and automotive technology, Luke has worked closely with manufacturers, aftermarket suppliers, and repair professionals.
Passionate about making automotive concepts accessible, Luke will lead an interactive session on how cars work, breaking down fuel-to-energy conversion, key components, and common mechanical terms. His engaging, practical approach ensures attendees walk away with a clearer understanding of both petrol and electric vehicles.
Hosted at the Auto Innovation Centre in Mulgrave, the evening also includes networking opportunities, a tour of AIC’s cutting-edge facilities, and an update on AAAA Women.
Expect great conversations, hands-on learning, and a welcoming environment. No prior automotive knowledge needed—just bring your curiosity!
A special thanks to our friends at Automotive Recruitment for their sponsorship and support of this event!
