Button and Coin Battery Laws Now in Effect
Laws surrounding the supply and sale of button and coin batteries, and products containing button and coin batteries, have now come into effect.
Any products containing these batteries must be tested to ensure they comply with the new standards, which outline certain requirements such as the product being safe from children opening the battery compartment. Suitable warnings are also required on packaging of any applicable products.
