VIC: Sick and Carer’s Pay for Selected Casual and Contract Workers
The Victorian Government has recently introduced a pilot program to give casual and contract workers up to 38 hours of sick or carer’s leave a year, initially funded by the Victorian Government.
The program is being rolled out for selected occupations, including sales support and retail staff (full list HERE), and the initial 2-year program period will be funded by the Victorian Government. You can check your eligibility and apply for the Sick Pay Guarantee program, and make a claim on eligible pay, HERE.
