Auto Aftermarket Expo Open Doors to the Public
to Promote Thriving Industry

For the first time ever, the Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo (AAAExpo) will welcome members of the public through its doors, as Expo organisers showcase the best the $25 billion industry has to offer to a new and excited audience.

The AAAExpo – proudly sponsored by Repco – is co-located with the Collison Repair Expo and will take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

With the theme ’The Future is Here’ and debuting a range of fantastic new initiatives and features, the Expo is an unmissable event, showcasing the latest vehicle repair and servicing equipment, parts, tools and accessories, new technology and trends, Workshop of the Future Pavilion, 4WD Innovation Zone, and a comprehensive training and education program across its three days.

Members of the public are invited to join trade visitors and attend the AAAExpo on Saturday the 9th of April, with entry free of charge and no registration required. Thursday 7th and Friday 8th April will remain strictly trade only days.

With the ongoing skills shortage one of the biggest issues facing Australia’s auto industry today, the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA) believes hosting an open day for the 2022 show will provide industry representatives with a golden opportunity to showcase all the industry has to offer to prospective new employees.

“The Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo is an amazing show and a great representation of the best of the best of our industry. What better opportunity is there to show what we are all about and raise awareness of what we can offer than to welcome the public to attend Saturday at the Expo,” AAAA Chief Executive Officer, Stuart Charity, said.

“With this open day, our Association, the show’s exhibitors, and a wide array of special guest speakers and presenters will be able to provide the public with an inspiring insight into the dynamic nature of our industry and in doing so, hopefully encourage a new generation to join our thriving automotive aftermarket.

“Bringing together the best representations and examples of our industry’s innovation, expertise, and world-leading products and brands, the AAAExpo is in a unique position to market our industry as we look to recruit new staff and build industry and brand awareness.

“This is a first for our Expo, and I am very excited to welcome the public through the doors and to listen to their perspectives as we seek to keep building on our success for future Expos.”

The AAAExpo will ensure strict Covid Safe protocols are employed to ensure a safe environment for all attendees while complying with government regulations.

Registration is not required for the public, who can attend for free and join trade visitors to the Expo between 10am – 5pm on Saturday 9th April at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
