Autocare 2025 To Tackle The Big Question – What Does The Future Of The Automotive Aftermarket Look Like
Autocare 2025, Australia’s largest education-led automotive convention, will kick off with a powerhouse session tackling the biggest question facing the industry today: What does success look like for the aftermarket five years from now — and what will it take to get there?
The opening keynote panel, Critical Crossroads: Five Trends Transforming the Automotive Aftermarket Landscape, which will be held at 9am on Friday 20th June, will bring together some of the most influential leaders in the automotive industry to explore how electrification, data access, skills shortages, changing consumer demands and technology are reshaping the future of the industry.
The speakers include: Rob Cameron, CEO of GPC Asia Pacific, Graeme Whickman, CEO of Amotiv, Benjamin Ward, Managing Director of Supercheap Auto, Rod Camm, CEO of MTA Queensland, and Stuart Charity, CEO of the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA).
“This incredible session will set the tone for the entire Autocare experience,” said Stuart Charity. “It’s a high-level conversation about the future — not just about trends, but about leadership, ambition and what kind of aftermarket we want to build together. You won’t want to miss it.”
Taking place 20–21 June 2025 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Autocare 2025 presented by the AAAA, with the support of platinum sponsor mycar Tyre & Auto features an unparalleled education program for technicians, apprentices and workshop owners, with dedicated streams for Technical Training and Workshop Management.
Due to overwhelming demand, two new exclusive full day diagnostic training sessions have been added to the program on 19th June, led by renowned U.S. experts Brandon Steckler and Keith Perkins.
The highly valuable Technical Training stream — led by leading Australian and international experts — will focus on the most in-demand topics, helping attendees advance their skills, improve capability, and stay competitive in a rapidly evolving industry.
The Workshop Management program is a must-attend for workshop owners, managers and automotive professionals wanting to stay across the latest business strategies, leadership insights and operational trends.
Complementing the training program is the Autocare Trade Show — a free to industry feature showcasing the latest tools, technology, equipment and services from 120 of the aftermarket’s most trusted brands. Visitors can see live demonstrations, experience product launches, and connect directly with leading suppliers.
Running alongside Autocare is the Light Vehicle Modification Summit — the only national forum dedicated to exploring the future of vehicle modifications in Australia. Regulators and industry leaders will come together to address challenges and help shape a modern, fit-for-purpose regulatory framework for this vital sector.
“Autocare is about more than training — it’s about coming together as an industry, challenging assumptions, and building a smarter, stronger aftermarket,” said Stuart Charity. “Whether you’re a technician, a business owner or a supplier, Autocare is your opportunity to be part of the conversation that will shape our shared future.”
