Professional Engineers Registration Scheme
AAAA recently responded to the South Australian Government’s discussion paper that proposes to introduce a Professional Engineers Registration Scheme. While AAAA will support the introduction of schemes when a full cost-benefit analysis shows positive impacts, we oppose the potential expansion of this scheme to cover non-construction engineers with no justification. This extension would impose unnecessary financial burdens on businesses and creates barriers to the state government’s manufacturing and business goals.
