Brisbane Member Networking Event

It’s been a long time since we have been able to be in the same room and it is terrific to announce that we are holding a Member Networking evening on Tuesday 21 June 2022 at Victoria Park in Herston.

Don’t miss this event, as incredibly, it will be held ten days before the Mandatory Data Sharing Law officially commences. This is where you will get the chance to hear about how the Law is going to work on a day-to-day basis.  AAAA CEO Stuart Charity will talk about how you access data and how the car manufacturers have responded to the quickly approaching deadline.

Access to dealer level information has been our goal for over 10 years but right now, the critical issue for our industry is the massive skills shortage and we’ve been pretty busy on that front too.  Lesley Yates will talk about our skills strategy and importantly, she will reveal some startling findings from our recent research.  We have uncovered some really confronting intel about why people chose to work in our industry and why they leave. This survey of 600 Apprentices is incredibly important and will kickstart a range of AAAA skills initiatives.

Not only will you hear an update on data sharing, skills and a quick update on the EV intel, this is mostly to reconnect and network with friends & colleagues.
